This is a complete (And ever changing) list of abilities allowed on Mendoza! If there's something that doesn't fit your character and you'd like to add something new, just hit up a member of staff! Only two abilities per character please. They can be any combination but no more than two. Thanks! If an ability requires admin approval, simply make your case with a member of staff, including a brief synopsis of your character and anything you plan to use the ability for.
- Shadowkinesis: Appears around the victim like the night sky and has been explained as being in a house of mirrors. Those unfortunate enough to be caught in this have said to lose all sense of direction. Also able to manipulate shadows and darkness to the user's discretion to hide themselves or something else.
- Nightmares: The ability to use your worst fears and nightmares against you to render you immobile (Rare ability only. Seek Admin approval.)
- Psychic Communication: The user is able to form a psionic communication line with another being, essentially rendering them capable of having comprehensible conversations with others using their minds. The user is able to open up channels of communications with others who may be incapable of physical speech or communicate to a deaf person by linking their minds.
- Precognition: Users have the ability to foresee possible futures and observe what may happen. As knowledge of the future invariably causes that future to change, visions of the future are subject to frequent shifting. While not being able to select futures or travel through time, these visions may assist in possible courses of action.
- Illusion Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. Some users can create complex and detailed worlds, others may be able to only alter the way they or the target are perceived.
- Photokinesis: Light Manipulation
- Starburst: The ability to render your enemy blind for a few moments or minutes, depending on the skill level of the user
- Transmutation: The power to alter the forms/structure of beings and objects.
- Holographic Projection: The ability to create holographs through manipulation of light particles, depends on skill level of the user.
- Chromakinesis: The ability to create, shape and manipulate colors, depending on the skill level of the user.
- Delumination: The ability to absorb light into their body and use it in various ways
- Compression: Ability to solidify light
- Abjuration: The power to protect. This includes force-field generation
- Divination: The power to gain information.
- Allspeak: The ability to communicate in any language, regardless of training and familiarity.
- Rejuvenation: The Ability to heal rapidly from almost all physical injuries.
- Battle Magic: The ability to channel strength and durability to different parts of their body. It enhances strength, agility, their senses and speed, however it must be used in bursts as the suddenness can ruin muscles, destroy bones and organs.
- Hydrokinetic Recovery: The ability to heal by manipulating water molecules to repair and regenerate damaged cells and molecules.
- Empathic Healing: The ability to heal emotional wounds or burdens.
- Hydrokinesis: Water Manipulation
- Aquatic Respiration: The ability to breathe underwater
- Echo: Memory Erasure through the use of water. Can also be used to bring forth a forgotten memory.
- Harmonizing: The ability to arrange one's environment to invoke a specific feeling or mood.
- Siren's Spell: The user can lure anyone who can hear to them and can manipulate their mind to do their bidding. Some have been known to experience an intense arousal at the song.
- Atmokinesis: The ability to create and manipulate weather, including ice, snow and blizzards
- Aerokinesis: Air manipulation
- Druids' Song: Can speak with all creatures of nature, including plants. Also given an innate ability to track and read the stars. Some have been known to hear things on the wind others cannot.
- Elenchus: Ability to distinguish lie from truth, also known as truth-seeking. Extremely rare (seek admin approval).
- Necromancy: The ability to raise and control the dead
- Cryokinetic Transmutation: The ability to transform objects and organic matter and into ice.
- Pyrokinesis: Fire Manipulation
- Sin Magic: The user can use form of magic dealing with sin or vice, usually one or more of the seven deadly sins: envy, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath. They can induce high levels of their associated sin, or even throw attacks composed of said sin.
- Luck Magic: The ability to perform a form of magic that allow the user to cast magical spells feats through luck. They can use different spells to change the probability of an outcome, increase their own chances of winning, cause a mistake to happen to the opponent and so on.
- Puppet Master: The ability to control the motor functions of any living creature for a period of time.
- Terrakinesis: Earth Manipulation
- Poison Magic: The user is able to use a form of magic that controls venom and poisons. This magic can augment, create, spread, or even weaken and eliminate poisons.
- Corruption: The ability to null someone else's magic or to decay any organic material
- Regrowth: The ability to creating plants, plant-based organisms and parts of plants by generating them from pre-existing plants or through manifestation.
- Sight: The ability to communicate and control varies animal species, including insects. Also grants the user scrying, the ability to see through the eyes of one animal at a time.
- Telekinesis: The ability to move objects with ones mind
- Photosynthetic Blood: The user's blood is photosynthetic, granting abilities related to the physiology of plant life. User does require to be in sunlight most of the time otherwise they will become very weak and may even die if one does not get enough sunlight. The user will not need to eat meat as well, tho most will eat very little.
